Well, what a wonderfully chaotic time!

The Pleasures of Fanny made its debut at Brick Lane Music Hall, London, and it was brilliant bringing this ridiculous show to life!

With just four days of rehearsals, putting together an all-singing, all-dancing, gloriously silly comedy was certainly ambitious! But thanks to an incredible cast and creative team, who threw themselves into the madness with so much energy, talent and enthusiasm, we somehow pulled it off! We were thrilled to have a sold-out run, such a fantastic response from audiences and some lovely reviews along the way.

This production was particularly special for me as it marked my debut as a writer, co-writing the show with Jack Pallister. I also had the joy of assistant directing and playing the title role of Fanny herself - a diva-ish, larger than life character who was an absolute treat to bring to life!

We were delighted to receive some glowing feedback, including:

“Played hilariously by Shannon Rewcroft.”— The Deskbound Dramatic ★★★★
“Co-writer Shannon Rewcroft is delightful as a doe-eyed Sweet Fanny Hood.”— North West End UK ★★★

“Shannon Rewcroft, Ross Tomlinson, Lucy Reed and Andrew Robley all have fantastic singing voices.”— Fairy Powered Productions ★★★★

"Rewcroft gives Fanny the perfect combination of vanity, insecurity and diva-like authority"— Curtain Call Reviews ★★★★

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this first outing so special, and to our wonderful audiences for embracing all the chaos!

Watch this space… there may well be more Fanny to come! 👀
