PUSS IN BOOTS | Stephen Joseph Theatre

5–31 December 2026 | The Round
I'm absolutely delighted to be spending Christmas performing in my hometown of Scarborough this year, playing Princess Florence in Puss in Boots at the wonderful Stephen Joseph Theatre!
After a few years of Christmas productions away from home, it's going to be particularly lovely to be back in Scarborough for the festive season, entertaining local audiences and getting to spend Christmas at home with family, friends and dog! The first ever panto I did actually was Puss in Boots at YMCA Scarborough aged 12, playing Princess Coral so this is quite a full circle moment for me!
Adapted by Nick Lane and directed by Paul Robinson, Puss in Boots is a wonderfully silly, musical reimagining of the classic fairy tale. We meet Sam, the unluckiest boy in Scarbarocia, whose Christmas looks set to be a disaster until his rather extraordinary cat suddenly starts talking! What follows promises plenty of mischief, music, laughter and festive chaos.
From the creative team behind the Stephen Joseph Theatre's productions of Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin and the UK Theatre Award-winning Beauty and the Beast, this year's Christmas show promises to be a fantastic festive treat for the whole family. I can't wait to get stuck into the silliness and bring Princess Florence to life!
