Loop - Associate Director 🎭

I am excited to share my new role as the Associate Director for "Loop," a powerful and moving new play by Morven Robinson, premiering at Leeds Playhouse on October 3rd followed by a community tour.

"Loop" draws inspiration from the true experiences of Oly Newton and explores the intricacies of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

The creative team behind "Loop" is one of the most exciting I have been lucky enough to be a part of.  I am proud to work alongside Director Jordan Langford, Actors Dean Michael Gregory and Adan Osbourn and writer Morven Robinson and of course, the inspiration behind the whole show Oly Newton! What this team have created with such care, passion and talent has been a privilege to watch.

The importance of "Loop" cannot be overstated. OCD affects millions worldwide, yet many struggle with stigma and misunderstanding surrounding it. The play aims to dismantle these barriers, providing insight into the daily challenges faced by those living with OCD. Morven has created a moving, funny, impactful and relatable piece to achieve this and I'm very excited to be sharing it with audiences in Yorkshire. By sharing Oly's story, we hope to inspire empathy and encourage open conversations about mental health.
